Brian Puspos has been a powerful choreographer and a story teller for as long as I can remember. (a really long time)
I remember the first time I was introduced to Brian was when I voted about a gazillion times for So Real on ABDC. The R.Kelly “Snake” routine was one for the books!
Shortly after ABDC ended I followed So Real as they continued to give back to the fans with their video shorts. So much talent and character in one group of young adults just following the dream… I was hooked!
Then I began to become more of a fan watching and anticipating the next hilarious move that Brian would leave us all with in each video. It wasn’t just the comedian within, but it was also watching videos like The Bounce and just watching this visionary go to work. Such body control and how easy he made it for a non dancing fan to understand the message of a song through motion.
That’s the thing that most people do not get…Any one can move to a beat but it takes a creative mind to really take a song and turn it into a piece that will leave you in awe. Dancers like Brian Puspos, Sonya Tayeh, Andrew Baterina, Shaun Evaristo, Brian Friedman, Keone Madrid, Nick Demoura, Mia Michaels, Ian Eastwood, Tabitha & Napoleon, Mariel Martin, soooo many names and not enough time to list them all. This is just my opinion here and I am naming names that are already so well known!

You get my point… The dude is “mind-fucking-ly” inspirational! As time passed he just grew into this dance powerhouse and every piece he drops is always something to remember. Whether he is doing a solo or group piece his transitions, formations, creativity, body control, song choice, groove, (he rapes the shit out of slow jams) he just ugh im speechless. Lol Im sounding borderline crazy right now but its rare to come across young talent that is also so pure at heart. He went from a small crew from Texas to this big name choreographer and not once has he strayed from the person he truly is and always gives back to those loyal to him.
Real talk I am just a big fan and here at iLLSPiRE we can always support one that is forever D.Y.O.T.
Im rambling on here.. So without further or due WATCH THIS VIDEO! haha then watch it again, and again, then again, again, then some more, one more time, share it with a friend, then again, then with your mother, lover, brother, sister, dog, neighbor, again, turn around then watch it once more haha you catch my drift.
Props to Brian Puspos for one hell of a year! This “Do Your Own Thing” SHOUT OUT is by far deserved hands down. To a guy never afraid to keep it real and show the world that D.Y.O.T can touch many and get you somewhere. We dont have to be famous or rich to lead a life of happiness and success. Take it from a guy like Brian…keep your supporters close and your family closer, but always keep the dream alive.
